So... It's been a while. Can we talk? Yeah, lots has been going on around here. Still recovering from the heart attack, trying to make progress with my anxiety and depression. I am medicated, and to tell you the truth, it really doesn't work well. Mostly I hidebernate. I know it's supposed to be hibernate, but I prefer mine.
I'm taking time away from my Academic Upgrading at Niagara College. Honestly, it is soooooo hard for me to be around people. Like the ignorance, and shit just flows off humans in waves, and it makes me feel really gross. Plus they expect you to actually interact with people, which I find worse than just being in their presence.

The heart-health issue continues to dog me. The way I see it, I'm struggling against decades of conditioning. And poverty, though not as bad as it has been in recent years. Things are what they are, I try to move more, and eat less... But, I don't always succeed. I play too much World of Warcraft, and Wasteland 2, Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I also have an unpatched 'SumoSys' which means I still have all the games, and my Commodore64 Mini. Also have Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and an android box. So... I'm pretty good with staying in.
My obsession with hockey continues unabated. With the OHL Trade deadline happening tomorrow, I've immersed myself in that. Scouring Twitter for ANY information on the Niagara IceDogs plans. It makes the time go faster I suppose.
No progress on my writing. I mean, it's been over a year since my last post. But I DO plan on getting back at it this year.
Cori and I got engaged in August. SummerSlam weekend, we went to dinner at Medieval Times. I invited Cori's mom along to share it with us. She ended up broadcasting it on Facebook Live so anyone in the family could watch it. Cool. We went to The Rec Room for dinner before NXT Takeover Toronto 2 the next evening. Dinner was good, we played video games, and watched some pretty cool wrestling. Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole best 2 of 3 falls capped the evening, and we saw them face off in the deciding fall in a steel cage. So much fun. The next morning we were up super early to go to the Metro Toronto Convention Center for the Fan Meetups. We'd paid to meed the NXT Men's and Women's champions. So we got our picture with Shayna Baszler, and Adam Cole. Both were nice, and congratulated us on our engagement. We also met Johnny Gargano and got a picture, and had him autograph our Candace & Johnny shirts. After that it was time to have some dinner, and honestly, I don't remember doing it. Then we were off to SummerSlam itself, and that was an insane night. So much fun.
So now? Well. The future isn't a promise. The past is unchanging. Be present, be thoughtful, keep things real.
